Public Informational Meeting for the Maplewood Nature Center

We have a fantastic opportunity coming up next week to share your passion for play and children’s access to nature.

We invite you to join Healthi Kids at the City of Rochester’s public meeting on the future Maplewood Nature Center. Our goal in attending is to ensure that children throughout the city have access to equitable, safe, culturally responsive, and sustaining opportunities to play and connect with nature.

At the meeting, plans and schematics will be shared, including how the old City of Rochester Training and Safety building will become the Nature Center itself, giving the playground a fresh new look, adding two outdoor park shelters, and making some improvements to the area. It’s all about making our City even more awesome for play and nature!
