Arts & Culture Plan
Input Sought for City/County Arts & Culture Plan
(Thursday, Sept. 17, 2024) – Mayor Malik D. Evans and Monroe County Executive Adam J. Bello are working together to develop an Arts & Culture Plan designed to shape the region’s cultural landscape for years to come. City and County teams are creating a collaborative vision for the region’s creative future and are now seeking input from community members, arts organizations, civic leaders, and stakeholders in Rochester’s arts ecosystem.
The City/County Arts & Culture Plan will identify opportunities to leverage existing arts and cultural assets, foster economic development, and enhance the quality of life of the area’s residents and visitors. The plan’s action steps will be based on feedback gathered through a public engagement process, which includes an online survey and a series of public meetings and pop-up events.
