Rochester Rattlers Home Games To Be Played At Aquinas

Rochester Rattlers professional lacrosse league games will be played at the Aquinas Stadium in Maplewood this year!  Professional sports are just steps away  for Maplewood residents this summer!

Fredrick Douglass Presentation At Maplewood Park
Wednesday the 27th, The Lower Falls Foundation is sponsoring an evening with renowned Frederick Douglas scholar Dr. David Anderson. This intimate presentation on the life and legacy of Douglas will be held in Maplewood Park at the Kelsey’s Landing historical marker. The program begins at 6:00 pm. Guided tours will be available after Dr. Anderson’s talk. Contact George

Motorist Advisory
Merrill Street to Close to Traffic at Lake Avenue Monday

(Friday, April 8, 2016) – The Monroe County Pure Waters Pump Station Upgrade Project will affect traffic at Merrill Street and Lake Avenue over the coming weeks. Beginning Monday, April 11 and lasting until Friday, April 22, Merrill Street will be closed to traffic entering and exiting Lake Avenue.
Detour signs will be posted.

Construction on the Ridgeway Reconstruction project will be starting again on MARCH 22. This season the ENTIRE length of Ridgeway from Ramona Street (WEST of the RR tracks) to Lake will be ONE WAY EASTBOUND. Please note that if you want to go further west from any streets west of Dewey, you won’t be able to make a left hand turn from Lilly onto Dewey- you’ll have to go east to Dewey, then north or south to Ridge or Driving Park to go west.

The Lower Falls Foundation is organizing another clean-up of Lower Falls Park and the trail this Sunday (3/20) at 2:00 PM. Meet at the Rose Garden- snacks provided!
