The Northwest Clean Sweep event for 2013 will be on April 27th! We’d like your thoughts: where as a community should we focus our efforts? On March 2, 2013 The Rotary Club of Rochester NW will host a Mardi Gras Party at the Daisy Flour Mill. Dinner and Dancing is only $40/person Tickets available at the library from Shelley Matthews. Tickets must be purchased by February 23rd. Menu includes a beautiful tossed salad, a wealth of Cajon and Louisiana specialties, and crab cakes, and roast beef. Bring your dancing shoes – dancing starts at 6 and continues until 11:30. The money raised will support Literacy activities in the NW area of Rochester.

The Flower City Work Camp, a group of area churches in its 28th year, is now accepting referrals. During the Spring recess of 2013 they will reach out, with over 500 youth and over 200 adult supervisors, to designated City locations and work for three days doing home repairs at no cost to the home owner.
